My wife, Connie, and I would like to invite you to visit His Place: Cathedral of Faith. We pray that you will find our site to be a welcoming experience.

Connie and I founded His Place in February of 2002 in Bangor, Michigan. His Place initially had services in a banquet hall outside of Bangor for approximately two years. At that time, the Lord graciously provided a small church in Hartford for our congregation to lease while building the current facility. After about one year, His Place was again on the move to the current location in Covert.

Over the course of the five years that His Place has existed, we have strived to follow the direction God would take us. We are currently in the middle of an addition and remodeling project which involves auditorium renovations and the building of a Sunday School building. We recently expanded our auditorium to increase the seating capacity to approximately four hundred, in order to handle the ongoing growth the church is experiencing.

We are very excited with the progress of our new community facility in Hartford, which is the location of our old church. The purpose of His Place: Hartford Community Center is to provide the families of Hartford with a location which can offer services ranging from recreation activities to an after-school tutoring program. The community center in Hartford is the first of five planned community centers which are to be built over the next ten years in the surrounding towns. We believe the purpose of church is not simply to have church services, but to give back to the communities that support us.

We at His Place see ourselves as being the “hands and feet” of Christ. Our job is to reach out and touch the world with the Love of Jesus Christ through a variety of ministries and programs. Our philosophy is to “go into the highways and byways and compel them” to come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. Jesus himself taught that we are to “go ye therefore” instead of simply sitting inside the four walls of our church while waiting for people to “discover” the love of Jesus. May God richly bless and keep you as you browse our site.

Prayerfully Yours,
Pastors Wayne and Connie Davis
