At His Place Cathedral of Faith, our desire is be a church where people can see those deepest hopes realized as we experience the marvelous love of God and discover the purpose God has placed on our lives.

Purpose and love are rarely the first things that come to mind when someone mentions “church” these days. In part that’s because church—in our time and our culture—has become a series of religious routines and lifeless rituals, disconnected from real life and real meaning.

We are surprised, then, to discover that God’s plan all along has been for us to find ourselves in a life-changing friendship with the One who set the stars in the sky by the power of His word. Jesus explained it this way to his closest followers: “I’m no longer calling you servants because servants don’t understand what their master is thinking and planning. No, I’ve named you friends because I’ve let you in on everything I’ve heard from the Father” (John 15:15).

Real friendship, not religious function—that’s what’s been on God’s heart from the beginning.

We’re created with a spiritual hunger that only God can satisfy.
